1. Too much hair loss could be a result of anaemia.
Checked your iron levels lately? If you’ve been experiencing severe hair loss, it could be due to the lack of iron in your diet. What’s more, since most iron comes from eating meat, it’s recommended that vegetarians stock up on multi-vitamins, and include more iron-rich foods in their diet to reduce hair loss.

 

2. Dryness could mean hormonal imbalance.

If you’re prone to serious dryness of your locks, it could be an indication of hormonal changes caused from consuming birth control, menopause, or even a thyroid condition.

Here’s what grey hair says about your health: a stressful lifestyle directly affects pigment producing cells, thus, turning black hair into grey. Try to stay happy and carefree, and stop smoking and consumption of alcohol to restore your hair’s natural colour.

 

5. Dandruff could be the cause of scalp inflammation or infection.
Those yellow and white flakes that sit on your scalp need immediate attention, for they could be a result of a skin infection you’re not wary of yet. These flakes that are a sign of “seborrheic dermatitis” can be gotten rid of with the usage of anti-dandruff shampoos and prescription cortisones.
